I was a working burned-out nightshift nurse before I left to start my own business and "got my life back!!!”

Now I can stay home with my daughter and earn money working from home.

Not so long ago,I was a burned- out nurse working 12hr nightshifts -3-4 nights a week including every weekend to pay my bills. After working for 12hrs at night I would sleep on my couch all day, too tired to do anything, and I did this most of the week and before I could recover I was ready to do it all over again. I laid there and watch my life pass me by and my daughter growing up without me to there, physically. I was worried that all she would remember  is her mother either going to work or sleeping. I had to do something.

Now, I can wake up with my daughter in the morning, help her get ready for school, watch her get on the school bus, then if I want to take a nap I will usually crawl back into bed. I can lay on my bed and do what I need to do for my business. As long as I have my laptop and telephone beside me I am ready for business.

Now I go on facebook to connect with my former coworkers and they still there complaining of how tired they are, or wondering whether or not their scheduled shift will be cancelled-mind you most of these people do not get benefit so they do not get paid when they loose a shift. This happened to me too, so I know exactly how that feels. People complained about that all the time-I just listened, I was bothered and I decided to do something about my situation. I am not trying to tell you that I did not love nursing, that would be a lie, i loved it, I loved being a nurse, I loved the way my life was changed when I became a nurse, it is a very respectable, and can be a lucrative career. But the hrs are long and the work is difficult emotionally as well as physically. 99% of the time we worked short. I started to resent that and resent the fact that I was taking care of other peoples family member when I should be home taking care of my family. My daughter was being raised by everyone else but me. I did not want to waste anymore time away from her so I made my move. In 10 years I will look back on my life and thank God that I spent more time with my family-not thank God that I was able to work more hours.

Even though I made a pretty decent living by most peoples standards, I still had the desire that there was more out there for me, that life did not have to be that hard- so now. I work smart not hard work!!!

So you see i understand where you are exactly, I was there just a few months ago-wondering what to do next-what could I do that would justify leaving my nursing career-what could I do that will be worth my time and pay me the same amount of money or even less as long as I was able to pay my bills and take care of my family I was fine. Something that I will not make me look back in regret. Something that wouldn't make people whom were already whispering that I was crazy, confirm that I was indeed crazy.  I did not want something that was going to be here today and gone tomorrow. So I felt very luck that I found this system that is working so well for me, I can even do this, sick and laying in a hospital bed.
